SAT & ACT Programs
Individualized Tutoring
Raleigh Tutoring offers one-on-one, individualized SAT and ACT tutoring tailored to each student’s goals, timeline, and learning style. Our personalized approach ensures that every session is focused, efficient, and aligned with the student’s testing plan.
Tutoring can be comprehensive—covering all sections of the SAT (Math and Reading & Writing) or ACT (English, Math, Reading, and optional Science)—or targeted to specific areas where a student needs the most improvement. We meet students where they are and build a strategic plan to help them maximize their score.
We also guide students in choosing between the SAT and ACT, helping them determine which test best suits their strengths before creating a customized preparation plan.
Sessions are flexible and convenient, with options to meet at our office, at a local library, or virtually.
With expert instruction, personalized strategies, and ongoing support, Raleigh Tutoring helps students build confidence and achieve their highest potential on test day.

SAT vs. ACT: Which Test Is the Best Fit?
This course helps students determine which college entrance exam—the SAT or ACT—best aligns with their strengths and provides a clear plan for success. Students will submit PSAT or Pre-ACT scores at the start of the course. On Monday, they will take a full-length practice version of the alternate test. Using both sets of results, instructors conduct a detailed comparison to identify each student’s best-fit exam.
From Tuesday through Thursday, students receive targeted instruction in all sections of their recommended test, focusing on strategy, content review, and skill-building. On Friday, students take a second full-length practice test to measure progress and identify areas for continued improvement. Each student receives an official prep book and expert guidance on test registration, timelines, and preparation strategies.
