Julia graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in English from Grove City College and a M.A.T. in English from Bob Jones University. Julia previously taught high school English at Wilmington Christian Academy in addition to tutoring a variety of subject areas. She has tutored at several Sylvan Learning Centers in the past, and she currently tutors a variety of subjects at Raleigh Tutoring such as middle/high school reading, writing, and study skills; SAT, ACT, and AP Test preparation; college essay and resume writing; and middle school math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Algebra II, and Geometry. She is also a certified ACT and SAT instructor with Raleigh Tutoring, where she made a perfect score on the SAT math certification test and near perfect scores on the other sections. She has helped students reach their goals and be accepted to such prestigious schools as NC State, UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke, Columbia University, and Stanford.
