About Our Tutors
Our ACT and SAT tutors are the best. We back up that claim with our internal certification process.
Our tutors must excel in their mastery of the academic content and score in the top ten percent on an official practice ACT or SAT practice test.
They must also demonstrate knowledge of the format, timing, strategies, and review priorities. They are required to make perfect scores on this portion of our assessment.
Our internal certification process ensures that our tutors are both proven excellent teachers and ACT and SAT experts.

SAT and ACT Tutoring Preparation Offerings and Cost
Which Test is Right for You, ACT or SAT? 4 hours, $250
The ACT and SAT tests are very different. Deciding whether to take the ACT or the SAT can be stressful and confusing. Preparing for both tests can also be time-consuming and costly. We can help you determine which test is best suited to your strengths. A tutor will give you an assessment consisting of a personality test and a diagnostic test, analyze the results, and help you make an informed decision about which test is best for you.
ACT or SAT Diagnostic - 3.5 hours, $200
Taking a ACT or SAT Diagnostic Test is an excellent way to reveal your child's strengths/weaknesses and areas of need. The test is administered under conditions that simulate the actual test environment. A Raleigh Tutoring instructor will analyze the results and will provide a detailed score report and recommendations for tutoring.
You Choose Targeted Review - $50/hour
No diagnostic pre-testing or post-testing (unless requested - available at an additional cost).
Sessions in any single area or combination of areas based on the student's needs.
A recommended comprehensive review of all areas for both the SAT and ACT is 20 hours of instruction.
SAT or ACT book for practice and review (an additional $20 cost).
Small Group Instruction - price varies based on # of students
We offer small group instruction for both the SAT and the ACT. Our small class sizes ensure that each student receives individualized attention in particular areas of need. Scheduling is dependent upon the participants' schedules, and the cost varies based on the number of students. The more students, the lower the cost per hour. Class size can range from 2-5 participants.
Discounts - Contact the director to find out about our discounts for sessions with multiple students. Tutoring with a friend or a small group may encourage constructive competition.
